Wow, it’s been a minute! I’m so sorry for the huge delay in posts, but the past term has been quite hectic. Fortunately, I’m back with another DIY, since ya girl got a new laptop for Christmas. Being me, I couldn’t resist decorating it, so I made a bunch of these stickers that I’m quite proud of. SO without further ado, let’s get into the tutorial!
Materials
- Printed pictures (laser printed is preferred)
- Clear contact paper or tape
- water
- adhesive cardstock or double-sided tape
- plastic card
Step 1
Print a page of images you want to make into stickers. Use a laser printer for best results.
Step 2
Cover the image with contact paper or tape. Use the plastic card to remove all the wrinkles and air bubbles. Press as hard as possible, and go over the image as many times as possible. Cut out the laminated image.
Step 3
Soak the image in water until it starts to curl. Then, gently start rubbing the paper off the back. Be careful not to rub off the ink. Add more water if necessary.
Stick the image onto self adhesive or regular cardstock and go over it with the card to make it as smooth as possible.
Step 4
Cut out the image on the cardstock and stick it onto your laptop. Congratulations! You just made a laptop sticker!
